for the most of us, we have left the jws...and even though we are no longer jw, many of us are still interested in their beliefs, doctrines and practices as currently practiced.
i was trying to sort out in my mind why i still care about what they are doing.
i think the answer to that is a hope that something will develop in the jws that will wake up a lot of others, and selfishly, a lot of my friends.
i resigned 50 years ago.
I only discovered this online XJW thing in about 2010, when i found out my son had been d/f'd and wanted to try to find him after some 25 years of estrangement.
i have no interest whatsoever in anything involving god/ bible/ jesus or any discussion on here involving the same. But i am interested in any new trend which could lead to the end of this hateful cult.

however,we thought the magazine on stress was deliberately placed in the summer months because for any jw going to a convention, paying high season hotel rates for themselves or their whole family to stay near the convention centre, fighting coworkers and managers to get the time off work, travelling expenses, buying their own meals for the family, buying new shiny suits and dresses to impress (particularly if you have teenage girls who are looking for their prince), and more.... by the time they come home again and straight away back to work, their nerves will be so frazzled that their stress levels will have sky rocketed!.

do they still have assembly badges ? What an opportunity--PIMO's could accidentally put their badges on upside down.
i was trying to think of some common jw words and phrases i don't think are in the bible .. new world order new system spiritual israel governing body channel of communication organization reporting time pioneer aux pioneer circuit overseer kingdom hall circuit assembly district convention....,maybe you can think of something to add if you are inclined..

As a teenager i liked going to the big assemblies--not with parents--no way ! Camping with my pals---eyeing up the girls and getting pissed.-
Then i ended up married to a born in ball breaker--and assemblies meant sitting on my ass all day attending the sessions--bored stiff and wanting a beer.
The final assembly for me was a big one at the old Wembley stadium London UK--it rained non stop and we went home early. Never again.

i was out on the ministry(tm) in the 1980's when i was pie-on-earring.
i was only a lowly publisher(tm) being coached by a rather odd elder(tm).. one of the publications(tm) had recently mentioned japan and the growth(tm) of jws there.. the elder(tm), brother(tm) i was with offered the magazines(tm) to the householder(tm).. then he stated, 'there are (gave the reported numbers at the time.
i can't remember the number he stated), jehovah's witnesses(tm) in japan.'.

The most embarrassing thing for me was--public prayer. Imagine having to stand in front of the congregation and praying out loud--making it up as you speak. You lucky sisters were spared that humiliation.

yeah, so shamima begum's challenge has failed.. the ruling body has declared that the home secretary's stripping of her citizenship in 2016 was lawful.. there are some people who say she was somehow 'groomed' but this is complete bullshit.
